Through the use of the VITAL toolset PCL are able to generate
simulation models of your FPGA designs and then exercise them using a
LASAR simulation. Our experience in writing functional simulations for
complex circuit assemblies enables us generate patterns that not only
prove the device does what you are expecting, but may also demonstrate
that unexpected functions are performed.
Additional benefits of this process are that patterns developed to
test your FPGA designs can be carried forward and used to test physical
stand alone devices, and can be reused in the simulation of the circuit
that the design is targeted for.
